determinedbysubtractingtheweightoftheloadedtrailertowing

Traile r Weight Range :Specifiedweightrangethatthetrailermust
fallwithinthatrangesfromzerotothemaximumtrailerweightrating.
Remembertofigureinthetongueloadofyourloadedtrailerwhen
figuringthetotalweight.
DonotexceedtheGVWRortheGAWRspecifiedontheSafety
ComplianceCertificationLabel.
Donotusereplacementtireswithlowerloadcarryingcapacitiesthanthe
originalsbecausetheymaylowerthevehicle’sGVWRandGAWR
limitations.Replacementtireswithahigherlimitthantheoriginalsdo
notincreasetheGVWRandGAWRlimitations.
TheCertificationLabel,foundontheinsidepillarofthedriver’sdoor,
listsseveralimportantvehicleweightratinglimitations.Beforeadding
anyadditionalequipment,refertotheselimitations.Ifyouareadding
weighttothefrontofyourvehicle,(potentiallyincludingweightadded
tothecab),theweightaddedshouldnotexceedtheFrontAxleReserve
Capacity(FARC).Additionalfrontalweightmaybeaddedtothefront
axlereservecapacityprovidedyoulimityourpayloadinotherways(i.e.
restrictthenumberofpassengersoramountofcargocarried).
Youmayaddequipmentthroughoutyourvehicleifthetotalweight
addedisequaltoorlessthantheTotalAxleReserveCapacity(TARC)
weight.YoushouldNEVERexceedtheTotalAxleReserveCapacity.
Alwaysensurethattheweightofpassengers,cargoandequipmentbeing
carriediswithintheweightlimitationsthathavebeenestablishedfor
yourvehicleincludingbothGrossVehicleWeightandFrontandRear
GrossAxleWeightRatinglimits.Undernocircumstanceshouldthese
limitationsbeexceeded.Exceedinganyvehicleweightratinglimitation
couldresultinseriousdamagetothevehicleand/orpersonalinjury.
