Controls and features
Thereversesensingsystemdetects
obstacleswithinapproximately1.8
meters(5.9ft.)oftherearbumper
withadecreasedcoverageareaat
theoutercornersofthebumper,
(refertothefiguresforapproximate
zonecoverageareas).Asyoumove
closertotheobstacle,therateof
thetoneincreases.Whenthe
distancetotheobstacleislessthan
25.0
cm(10in.),thetonewillsound
continuously.Ifthesystemdetectsa
stationaryorrecedingobjectfurther
than25.0cm(10in.)fromtheside
ofthevehicle,thetonewillsound
foronly3second.Oncethesystem
detectsanobjectapproaching,the
tonewillsoundagain.
Areversesensingcontrolallowsthe
drivertoenableanddisabletheRSS
whentheignitionisON.The
reversesensingcontrolindicator
momentarilyilluminateswhenthe
ignitionisturnedON.
OFF
TheOFFindicatorremains
illuminatedwhenthesystemis
disabled.ThesystemdefaultstoONeverytimethereversegearis
selected.Pressthecontroltodisableorenablethesystem.
Theindicatorwillremainilluminatedtoindicateafailureofthereverse
sensingsystem.
