Transporting children
Alwaysmakesureyourchildissecuredproperlyinadevicethatis
appropriatefortheirage,heightandweight.Allchildrenareshaped
differently.Thechildheight,ageandweightthresholdsprovidedare
recommendationsortheminimumrequirementsoflaw.TheNational
HighwayTrafficSafetyAdministration(NHTSA)provideseducationand
trainingtoensurethatallchildrenages0to16areproperlyrestrainedin
thecorrectrestraintsystem.FordrecommendscheckingwithaNHTSA
CertifiedChildPassengerSafetyTechnician(CPST)andyour
pediatriciantomakesureyourseatisappropriateforyourchildand
properlyinstalledinthevehicle.Tolocateachildseatfittingstationand
