indicatorlightintheinstrument
clusterwhenthesystemisactive.
IfafailureisdetectedintheAdvanceTracsystem,the“slidingcar”
iconindicatorlightintheinstrumentclusterwillstayon.
Ifthevehicleisstuckinsnowormudorwhendrivingindeepsand,
switchingofftheAdvanceTracsystemmaybebeneficialsothewheels
areallowedtospin.Ifyourvehicleseemstoloseenginepowerwhile
drivingindeepsandorverydeepsnow,switchingofftheAdvanceTrac
stabilityenhancementfeaturewillrestorefullenginepowerandwill
enhancemomentumthroughtheobstacle.
Somedriversmaynoticeaslightmovementofthebrakepedalwhenthe
AdvanceTracperformsasystemself-check.DuringAdvanceTrac

brakepedalwillmovetoapplyhigherbrakeforces.Youmayalsohear
awhooshofairfromundertheinstrumentpanelduringthissevere
condition.
