Replacing headlamp bulbs
MakesuretheheadlampswitchisintheOFFposition.
Toremovethehighorlowbeamheadlampbulb:
1.
Liftthehoodandremovethe
bulbcover.
2.
Swivelthewirecliptotheside
andpulloutthelamp.
3.
Pullthebulbholderstraightout
fromthelampassembly.
4.
Pullthebulbstraightoutfrom
thebulbholder.
Installinreverseorder.
Handleahalogenheadlampbulbcarefullyandkeepoutof
children’sreach.Graspthebulbbyonlyitsplasticbaseanddo
nottouchtheglass.Theoilfromyourhandcouldcausethebulbto
breakthenexttimetheheadlampsareoperated.
Note:Ifthebulbisaccidentallytouched,itshouldbecleanedwith
rubbingalcoholbeforebeingused.
ReplacingHIDheadlampbulbs(ifequipped)
Thelowbeamheadlampsonyourvehicleusea“highintensitydischarge”
source.Theselampsoperateatahighvoltage.Whenthebulbisburned
out,thebulbandstartercapsuleassemblymustbereplacedbyyour
dealeroraqualifiedtechnician.
