Positionthedriverfloormatsothat
theeyeletisoverthepointedendof
theretentionpostandrotate
forwardtolockin.Makesurethat
thematdoesnotinterferewiththe
operationoftheacceleratororthe
brakepedal.Toremovethefloor
mat,reversetheinstallation
procedure.
LIFTGATE (WAGON ONLY)
Youcanopenandclosetheliftgatefromoutsideofthevehicle.
•
Toopentheliftgate,unlockthe
wagon(withthekey,thepower
doorlocksortheremoteentry
keyfob)andpushthebutton
nexttothelicenseplate.
•
Toclosetheliftgate,grabthepull
handle(ifequipped)andpullthe
liftgatedown.Ifthetailgate
doesn’tcloseduetoaload,do
notusethepullhandletotiethe
liftgatedown.
•
Tolocktheliftgate,pressthelockbuttondownontheinsideofthe
liftgate.Usethekey,thepowerdoorlocks,ortheremoteentrykey
fobtolockthewagon.
Donotleavetheliftgateopenwhiledriving.Doingsocouldcauseserious
damagetotheliftgateanditscomponentsaswellasallowingcarbon
monoxidetoenterthevehicle.
Makesurethattheliftgatedoorisclosedtopreventexhaust
fumesfrombeingdrawnintothevehicle.Thiswillalsoprevent
passengersandcargofromfallingout.Ifyoumustdrivewiththe
liftgatedooropen,keeptheventsopensooutsideaircomesintothe
vehicle
