A WORD ABOUT YOUR KEYS
You can insert the double sided keys into the locks with
either side up.
Ignition Key Removal

The dealer that sold you you r new vehicle has the key
code nu mbers for you r vehicle locks. These nu mbers can
be used to ord er duplicate keys from you r dealer. Ask
you r dealer for these nu mbers and keep them in a safe
place.
Place the shift lever in PARK and make sure that the
gearshift knob push button has retu rned to the out
position. Turn the key to the Lock position and rem ove
the key.
NOTE: If you try to rem ove the key before you place
the lever in PARK, the key may becom e trap ped tem po-
rarily in the key cylind er. If this occurs, rotate the key
clockw ise slightly, then rem ove the key as described . If a
malfunction occurs, the system may trap the key in the
ignition cylind er to warn you that this safety featu re is
