To Set The Clock:
Use a ballp oint pen or similar object to press the hou r
(H) or minu te (M) buttons on the rad io, The time setting
will increase each time you press the button.
If the outsid e tem peratu re is more than 131°F (55°C), the
display will show 131°F. When the outsid e tem peratu re is
less than Ϫ40°F (Ϫ40°C), the display will show Ϫ40°F/ C.

er’s” package. This package consists of a cigar lighter and

ELECTRONIC DIGITAL CLOCK
Radio Broadcast Signals
The clock and rad io each use the display panel built into
the rad io. A digital read out ind icates the time in hou rs
and minu tes whenever the ignition switch is in the ON or
ACC position. Whenever the rad io is turned on, it first
comes up on either tap e, cd or rad io, whichever was
previou sly on, and will revert back to Time/ Clock after a
few second s. If Time/ Clock was not previou sly selected ,
the display will revert back to whichever was previou sly
on after a few second s, whether it was tap e, cd or rad io.
Your new rad io will provid e excellent recep tion und er
most operating cond itions. Like any system , how ever, car
rad ios have perform ance limitations, due to mobile op-
eration and natu ral phenom ena, which might lead you to
believe you r sou nd system is malfunctioning. To help
you und erstand and save you concern abou t these “ap -
parent” malfunctions, you must und erstand a point or
two abou t the transm ission and recep tion of rad io sig-
nals.
When the ignition switch is in the OFF position, pressing
the Time button will cause the rad io to display time for
several second s, then turn off.
