Security System Manual Override
The system will not arm if you lock the doors using the
manu al lock control.

transm issions must be at zero mph for the switch to work.
With the ignition ON, the word “deck” will be displayed
in place of the odometer display ind icating that the tru nk 2
is open. The odometer display will reap pear once the
tru nk is closed or if the trip button is depressed .
TRUNK LOCK AND RELEASE
With the key in lock position or key out, the “deck” will
be displayed until the tru nk is closed .

WARN ING!
Do not allow child ren to have access to the tru nk,
eith er by clim bing into the tru nk from outsid e, or
throu gh the insid e of the veh icle. Alw ays close the
tru nk lid when you r veh icle is unatten ded. Once in
the tru nk, you ng child ren may not be able to escap e,
even if they entered throu gh the rear seat. If trap ped
in the tru nk, child ren can die from suffocation or
heat strok e.
Use the key or the Remote Keyless Entry Transm itter to
open the tru nk from outsid e the vehicle. From insid e the
car the tru nk lid can be released by depressing the Trunk
Release Button located on the instru ment panel to the left
of the steering wheel. The transm ission must be in Park
