adjuststodrivingconditions.  When3(Third)isselected,
1(First)through3(Third)gearsareautomatically    shifted
bythevehicle,  but4(Fourth) cannotbeuseduntilitis
selected.
TheRangeSelection  Modecontrolsthevehicleand
enginespeedwhiledrivingdownahillortowinga
trailer,byallowing  youtoselectadesiredrangeof
gears.
WhenyoumovetheshiftleverintoM,thetransmission
willdefaulttoM4.Inthisgearrange,effective     engine
brakingoccursatspeedsabove45mph(72km/h).
Pushingtheminus(−)buttonontheshiftleverreduces
thegearrange.
IntheM3gearrange,effective   enginebrakingoccursat
speedsabove35mph(56km/h).
IntheM2gearrange,effective   enginebrakingoccursat
speedsabove25mph(40km/h).
TheRangeSelection  Modecontrolsthevehicle's
transmission.
IntheM1gearrange,effective   enginebrakingoccursat
speedsabove10mph(16km/h).

Whenoperating inM(ManualMode),AutoStopis
disabled. Forbettervehicleefficiency,operatethe
vehicleinD(Drive)notM(ManualMode).
Presstheplus/minus  buttontoupshiftordownshift
selecting thedesiredrangeofgears.
Anumberdisplays  nexttotheM,indicating  thecurrent
gearthathasbeenselected.   Thenumberdisplayed in
thegearindicator  isthehighestgearthatcanbeused.
Thevehiclecanautomatically  shifttolowergearsasit
CruisecontrolcanbeusedwhileusingtheRange
Selection Mode.
