correctaleak.Iffluidisaddedwhentheliningsare
worn,therewillbetoomuchfluidwhennewbrake
liningsareinstalled.  Addorremovebrakefluid,as
necessary,onlywhenworkisdoneonthebrake
hydraulic system.

Checkbrakefluidbylookingatthebrakefluidreservoir.

{WARNING:
Iftoomuchbrakefluidisadded,itcanspillonthe
engineandburn,iftheengineishotenough.You
orotherscouldbeburned,andthevehiclecould
bedamaged. Addbrakefluidonlywhenworkis
doneonthebrakehydraulic   system.See

CheckingBrakeFluid”inthissection.
Whenthebrakefluidfallstoalowlevel,thebrake
warninglightcomeson.See“BrakeSystemWarning
Light”intheownermanual.
Withtheenginenotrunningforatleastoneminute,the
maximumfluidlevel(A)isatthetopofthereservoir
body.Withtheenginerunning,   thefluidlevelshouldbe
intheproperoperating  range(B)betweentheMINand
MAXmarks.Ifitisnot,havethebrakehydraulic     system
checkedtoseeifthereisaleak.
RefertotheMaintenance  Schedule todetermine when
tocheckthebrakefluid.See“Scheduled    Maintenance”
intheownermanual.
Afterworkisdoneonthebrakehydraulic    system,make
surethelevel,withtheenginerunning,    isintheproper
operating range(B)betweentheMINandMAXmarks.
