checkthatthehoodisclosedand
securelylocked.

Usethesupportrodtoholdthehood
open.

Withthevehicleparked,pullthe
releasehandletounlockthehood.

Checkunderthehoodareatomake
certainallfillercapsareinplaceand
alllooseitems(e.g.tools,oil
containers,etc.)havebeenremoved.
Insertthesupportrodinitsclipwhile
holdingupthehood.Verifythatthe
supportrodissecuredintheclipbefore
closingthehood.
Closethehoodsothatitlockssecurely.
