Usingoneseatbeltformorethanonepersonatatimeisdangerous.Aseatbeltused
inthiswaycan'tspreadtheimpactforcesproperlyandthetwopassengerscouldbe
crushedtogetherandseriouslyinjuredorevenkilled.Neveruseonebeltformore
thanonepersonatatime.
OperatingtheRemoteHandleLeversWhileaRear-FacingChild-RestraintSystemis
intheRearSeat:
Operatingtheremotehandleleverswhilearear-facingchild-restraintsystemisinthe
rearseatisdangerous.Itcouldcauseinjurytoachildseatedinthechild-restraint
systemwhentheseatbacksuddenlyflipsforward.Alwaysremovethechild-restraint
systemfromtherearseatbeforeoperatingtheremotehandleleversfortherearseat.
CAUTION
Aseatbeltorchild-restraintsystemcanbecomeveryhotinaclosedvehicleduring
warmweather.Toavoidburningyourselforachild,checkthembeforeyouoryourchild
touchesthem.
NOTE
YourMazdaisequippedwithLATCHloweranchorsforattachmentofspecially
designedLATCHchild-restraintsystemsintherearseat.Whenusingtheseanchorsto
secureachild-restraintsystem,referto“LATCHChild-RestraintSystems”(page2-39).
