FoldingSeatbackswithRemote
HandleLevers:
Theseatbackandseatbottomcanbe
foldeddowntoprovideaflatsurface
extendingfromthebackofthefrontseats
totherearofthevehicleforextraluggage
space.
Notcheckingtherearseatareafor
personsbeforefoldingtheseatbacks
withtheremotehandleleversis
dangerous.Therearseatareais
difficulttoseefromtherearofthe
vehicle.Operatingtheremotehandle
leverswithoutcheckingcouldcause
injurytoapersonwhenaseatback
suddenlyflipsforward.Makesure
thereisnobodyintherearseatarea
beforeoperatingtheremotehandle
levers.
Whenusingtheremotehandlelevers:

Tofolddowntherearseatbacksand
seatbottoms
Becarefulofthefollowingwhenusing
theremotehandlelevers:
Onadownwardslope,theseatback
couldflipforwardfasterthanona
flatarea.

OperatingtheRemoteHandleLevers
WhileaRear-FacingChild-Restraint
SystemisintheRearSeat:
Onanupwardslope,theseatback

maynotfolddown.Whenthe
seatbackscannotbefoldeddown
withlevers,pulltherearseatback
forwardfrominsidethevehicle.
Operatingtheremotehandlelevers
whilearear-facingchild-restraint
systemisintherearseatisdangerous.
Itcouldcauseinjurytoachildseated
inthechild-restraintsystemwhenthe
seatbacksuddenlyflipsforward.
Alwaysremovethechild-restraint
systemfromtherearseatbefore
operatingtheremotehandleleversfor
therearseat.
