Theyhelpyoutoseeaswellastobeseen.
TheignitionswitchmustbeintheON
position.
Toturnthefrontfoglightson,rotatethe
foglightswitchtothe
position.
Theheadlightswitchmustbeinthe
positiontoturnonthefrontfoglights.
WARNING
FrozenWasherFluid:
Usingwindshieldwasherfluidwithout
anti-freezeprotectioninfreezing
temperaturesisdangerous.The
washerfluidcouldfreezeonthe
windshieldandblockyourvision.You
couldhaveanaccident.Don'tusethe
washerwithoutfirstwarmingthe
windshieldandneveruseplaintap
water.
Fog light switch
Toturnthemoff,rotatethefoglight
switchtotheOFFpositionorturnthe
headlightswitchtothe orOFF
position.
NOTE
Becauseheavyiceandsnowcanjam
thewiperblades,thewipermotoris
protectedfrommotorbreakdown,
overheatingandpossiblefirebya
circuitbreaker.Thismechanismwill
automaticallystopoperationofthe
blades,butonlyforabout5minutes.
Ifthishappens,turnoffthewiper
switchandparkofftheright-of-way,
andremovethesnowandice.
NOTE
Thefoglightswillturnoffwhenthe
headlightsaresetathighbeam.
After5minutes,turnontheswitchand
thebladesshouldoperatenormally.If
theydon'tresumefunctioning,consult
anAuthorizedMazdaDealerassoonas
possible.
