portionoftheseatbeltuntiltheentire
lengthofthebeltisoutoftheretractor.
NOTE
Inspectthisfunctionbeforeeachuseof
thechild-restraintsystem.Youshould
notbeabletopulltheshoulderbeltout
oftheretractorwhilethesystemisin
theautomaticlockingmode.Whenyou
removethechild-restraintsystem,be
surethebeltfullyretractstoreturnthe
systemtoemergencylockingmode
beforeoccupantsusetheseatbelts.

Ifyourchild-restraintsystemrequires
theuseofatetherstrap,hookand
tightenthetetherstrapbyfollowingthe
manufacturer'sinstructions.

Pushthechild-restraintsystemfirmly
intothevehicleseat.Besurethebelt
retractsassnuglyaspossible.Clicking
fromtheretractorwillbeheardduring
retractionifthesystemisinthe
automaticlockingmode.Ifthebelt
doesnotlocktheseatdowntight,
repeatthisstep.
