Brakingwillrequiremoreeffort,and
thebrake'spower-assistcouldbe
depletedifyoupumpthebrake.This
willcauselongerstoppingdistancesor
evenanaccident.Don'tcontinue
coastingwhentheengineisstalledor
turnedoff,findasafeplacetostop.
Whethertheengineiscoldorwarm,
itshouldbestartedwithoutuseof
theaccelerator.

RidingtheBrakes:
Drivingwithyourfootcontinuously
onthebrakepedalorsteadilyapplying
thebrakesforlongdistancesis
dangerous.Thiscausesoverheated
brakes,resultinginlongerstopping
distancesoreventotalbrakefailure.
Thiscouldcauselossofvehicle
controlandaseriousaccident.Avoid
continuousapplicationofthebrakes.

steephills.
