thepostsupintheholesontheseat
backwiththeheadrestraintstrap
facingtheoutsideofthevehicleand
pushdownuntiltheheadrestraint
locksintoplace.Liftgentlyto
ensureitislockedintoplace.
RefertoRearadjustableheadrestraintsearlierinthischapterfor
moreinformation.
WARNING:Iftheheadrestrainthasbeenremovedfroma
seatingpositiontoaccommodateahighbackchildrestraint,the
headrestraintmustbere-installedpriortouseoftheseatbyanyother
occupantinordertoreducetheriskofpersonalinjuryintheeventof
acollision.
Checktomakesurethechildseatisproperlysecuredbeforeeachuse.
Children12andundershouldbeproperlyrestrainedinarearseating
positionwheneverpossible.Ifallchildrencannotbeseatedand
restrainedproperlyinarearseatingposition,properlyrestrainthe
largestchildinthefrontseat.

Usethecorrectsafetybeltbuckleforthatseatingposition.
Insertthebelttongueintotheproperbuckleuntilyouhearasnap
andfeelitlatch.Makesurethetongueissecurelyfastenedinthe
buckle.
