WARNING:Whenclosingthemoonroof,youshouldverifythat
itisfreeofobstructionsandensurethatchildrenand/orpetsare
notintheproximityofthemoonroofopening.
Toclosethemoonroof:
Themoonroofisequippedwithanautomatic,one-touch,expressclosing
feature.Pressandreleasethefrontportionofthecontrol.Tostop
motionatanytimeduringtheone-touchclosing,pressthecontrolagain.
Bounce-back:
Whenanobstaclehasbeendetectedinthemoonroofopeningasthe
moonroofisclosing,themoonroofwillautomaticallyopenandstopata
prescribedposition.Thisisknownas“bounce-back”.Iftheignitionis
turnedoff(withoutaccessorydelaybeingactive)duringbounce-back,
themoonroofwillmoveuntilthebounce-backpositionisreached.
Bounce-backoverride:
Tooverridebounce-back,pressandholdthefrontportionofthecontrol.
Forexample:Bounce-backcanbeusedtoovercometheresistanceofice
onthemoonrooforseals.Ifduringabounce-backcondition,thecontrol
isreleasedtotheneutralposition,thenheldintheone-touchposition
withintwosecondsafterthemoonroofreachesthebounce-back
position,themoonroofwilltravelwithnobounce-backprotection.
Ifthecontrolisreleasedbeforethemoonroofreachesfullyclosedorthe
ignitionisturnedoff(withoutaccessorydelaybeingactive),themoon
roofwillstop.Securityoverridecanbeusedifthemoonroofmovement
isrestrictedinsomeway,forexample,ifthereisiceonthemoonroofor
seals.

Totiltthemoonroofintotheventposition(whentheglasspanelis
closed),pressandreleasethefrontportionofthecontrol.
Toclosethemoonrooffromtheventposition,pressandholdtherear
portionofthecontroluntiltheglasspanelstopsmoving.
Themoonroofhasaslidingshadethatcanbeopenedorclosedwhen
theglasspanelisshut.Toclosetheshade,pullittowardthefrontofthe
vehicle
Accessorydelay:
Withaccessorydelay,thewindowswitches,audiosystem,andmoonroof
(ifequipped)maybeusedforupto10minutesaftertheignitionswitch
isturnedofforuntilanydoorisopened.
