Replacing the battery
Theintegratedkeyheadtransmitterusesonecointypethree-voltlithium
batteryCR2032orequivalent.
Toreplacethebattery:
1.
Twistathincoinintheslotofthe
IKTnearthekeyringinorderto
removethebatterycover.
Note:Donotwipeoffanygreaseon
thebatteryterminalsontheback
surfaceofthecircuitboard.
2.
Removetheoldbattery.
Note:Pleaserefertolocal
regulationswhendisposingof
transmitterbatteries.
3.
Insertthenewbattery.Referto
theinstructionsinsidetheIKTfor
thecorrectorientationofthe
battery.Pressthebatterydownto
ensurethatthebatteryisfully
seatedinthebatteryhousingcavity.
4.
Snapthebatterycoverbackonto
thekey.
Note:ReplacementofthebatterywillnotcausetheIKTtobecome
deprogrammedfromyourvehicle.TheIKTshouldoperatenormallyafter
batteryreplacement.
Replacing lost integrated keyhead  transmitters (IKTs)
Ifyouwouldliketohaveyourintegratedkeyheadtransmitters
reprogrammedbecauseyoulostone,orwouldliketobuyadditional
IKTs,youcaneitherreprogramthemyourself,ortakeallIKTstoyour
authorizeddealerforreprogramming.
Howtoreprogramyourintegratedkeyheadtransmitters(IKTs)
Toprogramanewintegratedkeyheadtransmitteryourself,referto
ProgrammingsparekeysintheSecuriLock௡passiveanti-theftsystem
sectionofthischapter.Note:AtleasttwoIKTsarerequiredtoperform
thisprocedureyourself.
Illuminated entry
Theinteriorlampsandpuddlelamps(ifequipped)illuminatewhenthe
IntegratedKeyheadTransmitterisusedtounlockthedoor(s).
