Ifyouneedtohaveyourvehicletowed,contactaprofessionaltowing
serviceor,ifyouareamemberofaroadsideassistanceprogram,your
roadsideassistanceserviceprovider.
Itisrecommendedthatyourvehiclebetowedwithawheelliftorflatbed
equipment.Donottowwithaslingbelt.FordMotorCompanyhasnot
approvedaslingbelttowingprocedure.
Ifthevehicleistowedbyothermeansorincorrectly,vehicle
damagemayoccur.
Ifyourvehicleistobetowedusingwheelliftequipment,thenon-lifted
wheelsmustbeplacedonadollytopreventdamagetothevehicle.
Placearagontopofthehoistcablebelowthefasciawhenloadingor
unloadingavehicleonaflatbedwreckertopreventsurfacedamageto
thefascia.
FordMotorCompanyproducesatowingmanualforallauthorizedtow
truckoperators.Haveyourtowtruckoperatorrefertothismanualfor
properhook-upandtowingproceduresforyourvehicle.
