Makesurethatyourvehicleisatacompletestopbeforeyoushiftinto
R(Reverse).Failuretodosomaydamagethetransmission.

Presstheclutchpedaltothefloortodisengageclutch.
Movethegearshiftleverintotheneutralpositionandwaitatleast
threesecondsbeforeshiftingintoR(Reverse).
4.
ShiftintoR(Reverse)bypushing
thegearshiftknobdown,then
movingtheleverfullytotheleft,
thenforward.
Note:ThegearshiftlevercanonlybemovedtoR(Reverse)bypushing
theknobdownbeforeshiftingtoreverse.Thisisalockoutfeaturewhich
protectsthetransmissionfromaccidentallyengagingR(Reverse)when
intendingtoselect1(First).
IfR(Reverse)isnotfullyengaged,presstheclutchpedaldownand
returnthegearshifttotheneutralposition.Releasetheclutchpedalfor
amoment,thenpressitdownandshifttoR(Reverse)again.
Parking your vehicle

Applythebrakeandshiftintotheneutralposition.
Fullyapplytheparkingbrake,thenshiftinto1(First).
