MULTI-FUNCTION LEVER
Windshieldwiper:Rotatetheend
ofthecontrolawayfromyouto
increasethespeedofthewipers
(fromdesiredintervaltoloworhigh
speedposition);rotatetowardsyou
todecreasethespeedofthewipers.
Note:Heavyiceandsnowcanjamthewiperbladesandoverheatthe
wipermotor.Ifthishappens,themotorwillautomaticallystopthe
operationofthebladesforashortperiodoftime.Ifthishappenswhile
driving,turnoffthewiperswitch,parkofftheright-of-way,andremove
thesnowandice.Afterashortperiodoftime,turntheswitchonand
thebladesshouldoperatenormally.Iftheydon’tresumefunctioning,
consultanauthorizedMazdaDealerassoonaspossible.Waituntilthe
weatherclearsbeforetryingtodrivewiththewipersinoperative.

willswipeseveraltimeswith

Courtesywipefeature:Oneextrawipewilloccurafewsecondsafter
washingthefrontwindowtoclearanyexcesswasherfluidremainingon
thewindshield.
Note:Donotoperatethewasherwhenthewasherreservoirisempty.
Thismaycausethewasherpumptooverheat.Checkthewasherfluid
levelfrequently.Donotoperatethewiperswhenthewindshieldisdry.
Thismayscratchtheglass,damagethewiperbladesandcausethewiper
motortoburnout.Beforeoperatingthewiperonadrywindshield,
alwaysusethewindshieldwasher.Infreezingweather,besurethewiper
bladesarenotfrozentothewindshieldbeforeoperatingthewipers.
