Allowthebelttoretract.Asthebeltretracts,youwillhearaclicking
sound.Thisindicatestheseatbeltisnowintheautomaticlocking
mode.
How to disengage the automatic  locking mode
Disconnectthecombinationlap/shoulderbeltandallowittoretract
completelytodisengagetheautomaticlockingmodeandactivatethe
vehiclesensitive(emergency)lockingmode.
WARNING:Afteranyvehiclecollision,theentireseatbelt
systemshouldbecheckedforproperoperationbyanauthorized
dealer.VerifythattheЉautomaticlockingretractors”inalloutboard
seatingpositionsarefunctioningproperly.Additionallycheckthatthe
ЉautomaticlockingmodeЉfeatureforchildsafetyseatinthepassenger
outboardseatingpositionisfunctioningproperly.
WARNING:BELTANDRETRACTORASSEMBLYMUSTBE
REPLACEDiftheseatbeltassembly“automaticlocking
retractor”featureoranyotherseatbeltfunctionisnotoperating
properlywhencheckedaccordingtotheproceduresinWorkshop
Manual.
