RunningtheVehicleWhileParked
{WARNING:
Itisbetternottoparkwiththeenginerunning.     Butifyou
everhaveto,herearesomethingstoknow.
Itcanbedangerous  togetoutofthevehicleifthe
automatic transmission shiftleverisnotfullyin
P(Park)withtheparkingbrakefirmlyset.The
vehiclecanroll.Donotleavethevehiclewhenthe
engineisrunningunlessyouhaveto.Ifyouhave
lefttheenginerunning,  thevehiclecanmove
suddenly.Youorotherscouldbeinjured.    Tobe
surethevehiclewillnotmove,evenwhenyouare
onfairlylevelground,alwayssettheparking
brakeandmovetheshiftlevertoP(Park).
{WARNING:
Idlingavehicleinanenclosedareawithpoor
ventilation isdangerous. Engineexhaustmay
enterthevehicle.  Engineexhaustcontains
CarbonMonoxide (CO)whichcannotbeseenor
smelled. Itcancauseunconsciousness  andeven
death.Neverruntheengineinanenclosed    area
thathasnofreshairventilation.   Formore
