UsingCruiseControlonHills
Howwellthecruisecontrolwillworkonhillsdepends
uponthevehiclespeed,load,andthesteepness    ofthe
hills.Whengoingupsteephills,youmighthavetostep
ontheaccelerator  pedaltomaintainthevehicle's
speed.Whengoingdownhill,  youmighthavetobrake
orshifttoalowergeartokeepthevehicle's     speed
down.Whenthebrakesareappliedthecruisecontrol
turnsoff.
Toincrease thecruisespeedwhileusingcruisecontrol:

Pressandholdthe+RESbuttononthesteering
wheeluntilthedesiredspeedisreached,    then
releaseit.

Toincrease vehiclespeedinsmallincrements,
pressthe+RESbutton.Eachtimethisisdone,
thevehiclegoesabout1.6km/h(1mph)faster.

thenreleaseit.
ErasingSpeedMemory

Toslowdowninverysmallamounts,    pressthe
SETbuttononthesteering   wheelbriefly.Each
timethisisdone,thevehiclegoesabout1.6km/h
Thecruisecontrolsetspeedmemoryiserasedwhen
thecruisecontrolortheignition   isturnedoff.

PassingAnotherVehicleWhileUsing
CruiseControl
Usetheaccelerator  pedaltoincrease thevehicle
speed.Whenyoutakeyourfootoffthepedal,the
vehiclewillslowdowntotheprevious    setcruisespeed.
