Donotdriveyourvehiclewithoverheated
transmission fluidorwhilethetransmission
temperature warningisdisplayed.
Thismessagedisplays whenthewindshield washer
fluidislow.Fillthewindshield washerfluidreservoir as
soonaspossible. SeeEngineCompartment Overview
on page 7‑16 forthelocation ofthewindshield washer
fluidreservoir.Also,seeWindshield WasherFluid on
page 7‑39 formoreinformation.
DICVehicleCustomization
Yourvehiclemayhavecustomization capabilities that
allowyoutoprogramcertainfeatures toonepreferred
setting. Customization features canonlybe
programmed toonesettingonthevehicleandcannot
beprogrammed toapreferred settingfortwodifferent
drivers.
Thismessagedisplays alongwithfourchimesifthe
transmission fluidinthevehiclegetshot.Drivingwith
thetransmission fluidtemperature highcancause
damagetothevehicle. Stopthevehicleandletitidleto
allowthetransmission tocool.Thismessageclearsand
thechimestopswhenthefluidtemperature reachesa
safelevel.
Allofthecustomization optionsmaynotbeavailable on
yourvehicle. Onlytheoptionsavailable willbe
displayed ontheDIC.
TURNSIGNALON
Thismessagedisplays andachimesoundsifaturn
signalisleftonfor3/4ofamile(1.2km).Movetheturn
signal/multifunction levertotheoffposition.
Thedefaultsettings forthecustomization features were
setwhenyourvehicleleftthefactory,butmayhave
beenchangedfromtheirdefaultstatesincethen.
Thecustomization preferences areautomatically
recalled.
