dropsbelowatemperature whichistoocoolforair
conditioning tobeeffective, theairconditioning light
turnsofftoshowthattheairconditioning modehas
beencanceled.
Thismoderecirculates andhelpstoquicklycooltheair
insidethevehicle. Itcanbeusedtohelpprevent
outsideairandodorsfromentering thevehicle.
Therecirculation modecannotbeusedwithfloor,defog,
ordefrostmodes.Ifrecirculation isselected withoneof
thosemodes,theindicator lightflashesthreetimesand
thenturnsoff.Theairconditioning compressor also
comesonwhenthismodeisactivated. Whilein
recirculation modethewindowsmayfogwhenthe
weatheriscoldanddamp.Toclearthefog,selecteither
thedefogordefrostmodeandincrease thefanspeed.
Onhotdays,openthewindowslongenoughtolethot
insideairescape.Thishelpstoreducethetimeittakes
forthevehicletocooldown.Italsohelpsthesystemto
operatemoreefficiently.
Therecirculation modecanalsobeturnedoffbyturning
offtheignition.
Theairconditioning systemremovesmoisturefromthe
air,soasmallamountofwatermightdripunderthe
vehiclewhileidlingorafterturningofftheengine.
Thisisnormal.
