shiftleverisnotfullyinP(Park)withtheparking
brakefirmlyset.Thevehiclecanroll.
Driveslowlyuntilthetrailerisclearofthechocks.
7. Stopandhavesomeonepickupandstore
thechocks.
Iftheenginehasbeenleftrunning,    thevehicle
canmovesuddenly.Youorotherscouldbe
injured. Tobesurethevehiclewillnotmove,even
whenonfairlylevelground,alwaysputtheshift
leverfullyinP(Park)withtheparkingbrake
firmlyset.
MaintenanceWhenTrailerTowing
Thevehicleneedsservicemoreoftenwhenpullinga
trailer.Seethismanual's  Maintenance Schedule or
Indexformoreinformation.  Thingsthatareespecially
important intraileroperation areautomatic transmission
fluid,engineoil,axlelubricant,   belts,coolingsystem
andbrakesystem.Itisagoodideatoinspectthese
beforeandduringthetrip.
Checkperiodically toseethatallhitchnutsandbolts
aretight.
