vehiclebyusingsatellite signals, variousvehicle
signals, andmapdata.
Attimes,otherinterferences suchasthesatellite
condition, roadconfiguration, thecondition ofthe
vehicleand/orothercircumstances caninterfere with
thenavigation system's abilitytodetermine theaccurate
position ofthevehicle.

TheGPSshowsthecurrentposition ofthevehicle
usingsignalssentbytheGPSSatellites oftheUnited
StatesDepartment ofDefense.Whenthevehicleisnot
receiving signalsfromthesatellites, asymbolappears
onthemapscreen.RefertoSymbolsonpage5‑17.
