Notice: Loadingcargoontheroofrackthatweighs
morethan91kg(200lbs)orhangsovertherearor
sidesofthevehiclemaydamagethevehicle. Load
cargosothatitrestsevenlybetweenthecrossrails,
makingsuretofastencargosecurely.
Topreventdamageorlossofcargowhendriving,
checktomakesurecrossrails andcargoaresecurely
fastened. Loadingcargoontheroofrackwillmakethe
vehicle’scenterofgravityhigher.Avoidhighspeeds,
suddenstarts,sharpturns,suddenbrakingorabrupt
maneuvers, otherwise itmayresultinlossofcontrol.
Ifdrivingforalongdistance, onroughroads,orathigh
speeds,occasionally stopthevehicletomakesurethe
cargoremainsinitsplace.

Donotexceedthemaximumvehiclecapacitywhen

Aftermovingacrossrail, besureitissecurely
lockedintothesiderail.
ACenterHigh-Mounted Stoplamp(CHMSL)islocated
abovetheglassorabovetherearloaddoors.
Topreventdamageorlossofcargo,checknowand
thentomakesuretheluggageandcargoarestill
securely fastened.
Ifitemsareloadedontheroofofthevehicle, care
shouldbetakennottoblockordamagethe
CHMSLunit.
Besurethecargoisproperly loaded.

Ifsmallheavyobjectsareplacedontheroof,place
theloadintheareaovertherearwheels(behind
therearsidedooronextended models).Ifneeded,
cutapieceof3/8inchplywoodtofitinsidethe
crossrails andsiderails tospreadtheload.
