Ifthevehicle's  safetybeltwillfastenaroundyou,you
shoulduseit.
Butifasafetybeltisnotlongenough,yourdealer/
retailer willorderyouanextender.Whenyougointo
orderit,taketheheaviestcoatyouwillwear,sothe
extender willbelongenoughforyou.Tohelpavoid
personal injury,donotletsomeoneelseuseit,anduse
itonlyfortheseatitismadetofit.Theextender      has
beendesigned foradults.Neveruseitforsecuring    child
seats.Towearit,attachittotheregularsafetybelt.For
moreinformation, seetheinstruction  sheetthatcomes
withtheextender.
Tomakethebeltshorter,pullitsfreeendasshownuntil
thebeltissnug.
Ifthebeltisnotlongenough,seeSafetyBeltExtender
on page 2‑48.
Makesurethereleasebuttononthebuckleis
positioned soyouwouldbeabletounbucklethesafety
beltquicklyifnecessary.
Ifyoufindthatthelatchplatewillnotgofullyintothe
buckle,seeifyouareusingthecorrectbuckle.Besure
thatthelatchplateclickswheninserted    intothebuckle.
