it.Donottryitifitisdeepenoughtocoverthewheel
hubs,axles,orexhaustpipe—youprobably willnotget
through. Deepwatercandamagetheaxleandother
vehicleparts.
Nightdrivingismoredangerous thandaydriving
becausesomedriversarelikelytobeimpaired —by
alcoholordrugs,withnightvisionproblems, orby
fatigue.
Nightdrivingtipsinclude:
Ifthewaterisnottoodeep,driveslowlythroughit.
Atfasterspeeds,watersplashes ontheignition system
andthevehiclecanstall.Stalling canalsooccurifyou
getthetailpipe underwater.Ifthetailpipe isunder
water,youwillneverbeabletostarttheengine.When
goingthroughwater,rememberthatwhenthebrakes
