TILT/TELESCOPING STEERING COLUMN
This featu re allow s you to tilt the steering column
upward or downw ard . It also allow s you to lengthen or
shorten the steering column. The tilt/ telescop ing control
hand le is located below the steering wheel at the end of
the steering column.
To unlock the steering column, push the control hand le
downw ard (tow ard the floor). To tilt the steering column,
move the steering wheel upward or downw ard as de-
sired . To lengthen or shorten the steering column, pull
the steering wheel outward or push it inw ard as desired .
To lock the steering column in position, push the control 3
hand le upward until fully engaged .
WARN ING!
Do not adjust the steerin g wheel while drivin g. The
telescop ing adjustm ent must be lock ed while driv-
ing. Adjustin g the steerin g wheel while drivin g or
drivin g with out the telescop ing adjustm ent lock ed
could cause the driver to lose control of the veh icle.
