Using HomeLinkா
To operate, simply press and release the program med
HomeLink button. Activation will now occur for the
trained device (i.e. garage door opener, gate operator,
security system , entry door lock, hom e/ office lighting,
etc. The hand -held transm itter of the device may also be
used at any time.
Security
It is advised to erase all channels before you sell or turn
in you r vehicle.
To do this, press and hold the two outsid e buttons for 20
second s until the EVIC message states “CH ANNELS
CLEARED.” Note that all channels will be erased . Ind i-
vid ual channels cannot be erased .
Reprogramming a Single HomeLinkா Button
To re-p rogram a channel that has been previou sly
trained , follow these step s:
The HomeLink Universal Transceiver is disabled when

Turn the ignition switch to the ON/ RUN position.
