Check tire pressu re and look for unu sual wear or
damage.
Your dealer will reset the oil change ind icator message
after completing the sched uled oil change. If this sched -
uled oil change is perform ed by som eone other than you r
dealer the message can be reset by referring to the step s
described und er “Oil Change Requ ired ” in “Use Factory
Settings” of the EVIC section in this manu al.
Insp ect the battery and clean and tighten the term inals
as requ ired .

add as need ed.

Check the engine oil level abou t 5 minu tes after a fully
warm ed engine is shu t off. Checking the oil level while
the vehicle is on level grou nd will improve the accu-
racy of the oil level read ing. Add oil only when the
level is at or below the ADD or MIN mark.
