The idle speed is controlled autom atically and it will
decrease as the engine warm s up.
Operation in ambient tem peratu re below 32°F (0°C) may
requ ire special consid erations. The follow ing chart sug-
gest these options:
Normal Starting — Diesel Engines
Observe the follow ing when the engine is operating.

All message center lights are off.
Malfu nction Ind icator Light (MIL) is off.
Low Oil Pressu re Light is off.
*No. 1 Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel (ULSD) shou ld only
be used where extend ed arctic cond itions (-10°F/ -23°C)
exist.
