Do not use eth anol mixtu re greater than 85% in
you r veh icle. It will cause difficu lty in cold start-
ing and may affect drivab ility.
NOTE: Federal law req uires that you must fuel this
veh icle with Ultra Low Sulfu r High way Diesel fuel (15
ppm Sulfu r maxim um) and proh ibits the use of Low
Sulfu r High way Diesel fuel (500 ppm Sulfu r maxi-
mum) to avoid damage to the emission s control system .
FUEL REQUIREMENTS (DIESEL ENGINES)
Use good quality diesel fuel from a rep utable supplier.
For most year-rou nd service, No. 2 diesel fuel meeting
ASTM specification D-975 Grad e S15 will provid e good
perform ance. If the vehicle is exposed to extrem e cold
(below 20° F or -7° C), or is requ ired to operate at
colder-than-norm al cond itions for prolonged period s,
use climatized No. 2 diesel fuel or dilute the No. 2 diesel
