THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE

It is not advisable to drive you r vehicle after the
airbags have deployed . If you are involved in another
collision, the airbags will not be in place to protect you .

If the airbags deploy after an impact and the electrical
system
rem ains functional, vehicles equ ipped with
power door locks will unlock autom atically. The hazard
lights will flash and the fuel will be cut off to the engine.
In addition, after the vehicle has stop ped moving, the
interior lights will illuminate to aid visibility and rem ain
lit until the ignition switch is turned off.
WARN ING!
Deployed airb ags and seat belt preten sion ers cannot
protect you in anoth er collision . Have the airb ags,
seat belt preten sion ers, and seat belt retractor assem -
bly, rep laced by an authorized dealer as soon as
possib le.
NOTE: The interior lights can only be deactivated if the
key is rem oved from the ignition switch or the vehicle is
driven.
