The  system  will  autom atically  control  recircu -
lation.  However,  pressing  this  button  will  tem -
porarily  put  the  system  in  recircu lation  mode.
This can  be used  when outsid  e cond itions such
as smoke,  odors,  dust,  or high  hu midity are  present.  This
will  cause the  LED to  illuminate.

norm al operation.
Most  of the  time,  when   in Autom atic  operation,   you
can   tem porarily   put   the   system   into   recircu lation
mode  by  pressing  the  Recirc button.   However,  und er  4
certain  cond itions  in autom atic  the system   is blow ing
air out  of the defrost  vents.  When  these  cond itions are
present  and  the  Recirc button   is pressed  the  ind icator
will  flash  and  rem ain off. This  tells  you  that  you  are
unable  to go into recircu lation  mode  at this time. If you
would  like to  go to Recircu lation  mode, you  must  first
move  you r mode  knob  to  panel,  panel/  floor  or floor,
then  hit the  Recirc button.  This  featu re will red uce the
possibility  of  wind ow fogging.
NOTE:
The  surface  of the  climate  control  panel,   and  the  top
center  of the  instru ment  panel  shou ld  be kep t free  of
debris   due  to   the  climate   control  sensor’s   location.
Mud  on the wind shield  may  also cause poor  operation
of this  system .
To provid  e you  with  maxim um   comfort  in  the auto-
matic  mode,  during  cold  start-u ps the  blow er fan  will
rem ain off  until  the  engine  warm s  up.  However,  the
fan  will  engage   immediately    if the  defrost   mode   is
selected  or  if you  manu ally select  a blow er  speed .
