minu tes  above  15 mph  (24  km/ h)  will  turn  OFF the
and  reinstall it on  the vehicle  in place of the  spare tire,  the
TPMS will  update   autom atically  and   the “Tire  Pressu re
Monitoring   Telltale  Light”  will  turn  OFF, as  long  as  no
tire  pressu re is  below  the low-pressu  re warning   limit  in
any of  the four  active road  tires. The  vehicle  may need  to
be driven   for up  to 10 minu tes  above 15 mph   (24 km/ h)
in ord er for  the  TPMS to receive  this  inform ation.
“Tire Pressu re Monitoring   Telltale Light”  as long  as none
of  the  road   tires  are  below  the   low  pressu re  warning
threshold  .
NOTE:   If you r vehicle  is not  equ ipped  with a  matching
full size  spare wheel  and  tire assem bly, it does  not have  a
tire  pressu re  monitoring    sensor   in  the  spare   tire.  The
TPMS will not  be able to  monitor  the tire  pressu re. If you
install  the  spare   tire  in  place  of  a  road  tire  that  has   a
pressu re below  the low-pressu  re warning   limit, upon  the
next ignition   key cycle, a  chim e will sou nd and  the  “Tire
Pressu re Monitoring   Telltale  Light”  will  turn  ON.  After
driving  the vehicle  for up to  10 minu tes above 15 mph  (25
km/  h), the “Tire Pressu re  Monitoring  Telltale  Light” will
flash on  and  off for 75 second s and  then rem ain  on solid .
For  each   subsequ ent  ignition   key   cycle,  a  chim e  will
sou nd and  the  “Tire Pressu re  Monitoring   Telltale Light”
will  flash on  and  off for  75 second s and  then  rem ain on
solid . Once  you  rep air or  rep lace the  original   road  tire,

The Tire  Pressu re Monitor   System  (TPMS) uses  wireless  5
technology  with  wheel  rim mounted   electronic  sensors to
monitor   tire  pressu re  levels.  Sensors,  mounted    to  each
wheel  as  part  of  the  valve  stem , transm  it tire  pressu  re
read ings to  the  Receiver  Mod ule.
NOTE:   It  is particu larly  important,  for  you to  check the
tire pressu re  in all of you r tires regu larly  and to  maintain
the  prop er pressu re.
