ENGINE BLOCK HEATER — IF  EQUIPPED
The   engine   block  heater    warm s  engine   coolant    and
perm its quicker  starts  in cold weather.  Connect  the heater
cord  to a grou nd -fault  interru pter  protected   110-115 volt
AC  electrical  outlet  with   a grou nd ed, three-w  ire exten-
sion  cord .
The  engin e block   heater  cord  is  located :
3.7L/ 4.7L Engine  — coiled and  strap ped  to the engine
oil dipstick   tube.

Use the  heater  when  tem peratu res  below  0°F (-18°C) are
expected  to  last for  several  days.

The block  heater  must  be plugged   in at least  one hou r to
have  an adequ  ate warm ing  effect on  the  coolant.
WARN ING!
Rem ember   to  discon  nect  the   cord   before   drivin g.
Damage   to the  110-115 volt  AC  electrical   cord  could
cause  electrocu tion .
