Spare Tire Stowage
The spare tire is stow ed und er the rear of the vehicle by
means of a cable winch mechanism . To rem ove or stow
the spare, use the jack hand le to rotate the “sp are tire
drive” nu t. The nu t is located und er a plastic cover at the
center-rear of the cargo floor area, just insid e the liftgate
opening.
CAUTIO N!
Do not use power tools to winch the tire up or down.
Impact typ e tools can damage the winch mechanism .

Lowerin g/Raisin g Spare Tire
Spare Tire Removal
Fit the jack hand le extension over the drive nu t. Use the
Lug Wrench to rotate the nu t counter clockw ise until the
spare is on the grou nd with enou gh slack in the cable to
allow to pull the tire out from und er the vehicle.
