RemoteVehicleStart
Notice: Whenreplacing thebattery,donottouch
anyofthecircuitry  onthetransmitter.Staticfrom
yourbodycoulddamagethetransmitter.
Thisfeatureallowsyoutostarttheenginefromoutside
thevehicle.
Beforetheremotevehiclestartsystemcanbeoperated,
itmustbeturnedonthroughthevehiclepersonalization
system.
Youcanalsoprogramtheremotevehiclestartsystem
tostartupthevehicle's   automatic climatecontrol
system.Ifthisfeatureisturnedon,thesystemmonitors
theoutsidetemperature  andturnsontherearwindow
defogger,frontwindowdefogger,andheatedor
ventilated seats,ifyourvehiclehasthem.See
“
Personal Settings Menu”underVehiclePersonalization
on page 3‑58.

(RemoteStart) : ThisbuttonwillbeontheRKE
transmitter ifyouhaveremotestart.
Tostartthevehicleusingtheremotestartfeature:
1.
Aimtheremotekeylessaccesstransmitter   atthe
vehicle.
1.
Separate thetransmitter withaflat,thinobject
inserted intotheslotonthesideofthetransmitter.
2.
Pressthetransmitter'sQ,releaseit,andthen

3.
Removetheoldbattery.Donotuseametalobject.
immediately pressandholdthetransmitter's/for
atleastthreesecondsoruntilthevehicle's    turn
signallampsflash.Thevehicle's   doorswillbe
locked.
Insertthenewbattery,positive   sidefacingdown.
ReplacewithaCR2032orequivalent   battery.
4.
Snapthetransmitter  backtogether.
Whenthevehiclestarts,theparkinglampswillturn
onandremainonwhilethevehicleisrunning.
