SERVICETHEFTSYSTEM
Thismessagedisplays  whenthesuspension systemis
notoperating properly.Haveyourvehicleserviced   by
yourdealer/retailer.
Thismessagedisplays  whenthereisaproblemwiththe
hoodopenandclosedswitches.   Theswitches may
needtobereplaced.  Whenthismessageisdisplayed,
thetheft-deterrent systemwillstillbeprotecting   the
interior ofthevehicle, however,thehoodareawillnot
beprotected atthistime.Also,theremotestartfunction
willnotworkwhenthismessageappears.    Seeyour
dealer/retailer forservice.
IfyourAll-Wheel  Drive(AWD)vehiclehastheActive
Steering withEnhanced StabiliTrakoptionandthe
suspension systemneedsservice, theEnhanced
StabiliTraksystemmaybeoperating   intheStability
SecureModeandtheSTABILITYSECUREMODE
messagewilldisplay.SeeEnhancedStabiliTrak®    on
page 5‑7.
SERVICETRANSMISSION
Thismessagedisplays  whenthereisaproblemwith
thetransmission. Haveyourvehicleserviced  byyour
dealer/retailer.
SERVICETIREMONITOR
Thismessagedisplays  ifapartontheTirePressure
MonitorSystem(TPMS)isnotworkingproperly.Thetire
pressure lightalsoflashesandthenremainsonduring
thesameignition  cycle.SeeTirePressure  Light on
page 4‑62.Severalconditions  maycausethismessage
toappear.SeeTirePressureMonitorOperation    on
page 6‑64 formoreinformation. Ifthewarningcomes
onandstayson,theremaybeaproblemwiththe
TPMS.Seeyourdealer/retailer.
