Usedengineoilcontains  certainelementsthatcanbe
unhealthy foryourskinandcouldevencausecancer.
Donotletusedoilstayonyourskinforverylong.Clean
yourskinandnailswithsoapandwater,oragoodhand
cleaner.Washorproperly  disposeofclothing  orrags
containing usedengineoil.Seethemanufacturer's
warnings abouttheuseanddisposalofoilproducts.
TheEngineOilLifeSystemcalculates   whentochange
theengineoilandfilterbasedonvehicleuse.
Whenevertheoilischanged,   resetthesystemsoitcan
calculate whenthenextoilchangeisrequired.   Ifa
situation occurswheretheoilischangedpriortoa
CHANGEENGINEOILSOONmessageintheDIC
beingturnedon,resetthesystem.
Usedoilcanbeathreattotheenvironment.     Ifyou
changeyourownoil,besuretodrainalltheoilfromthe
filterbeforedisposal.  Neverdisposeofoilbyputtingitin
thetrash,pouringitontheground,intosewers,orinto
streamsorbodiesofwater.Recycleitbytakingittoa
placethatcollects  usedoil.
Aftertheoilhasbeenchanged,   theCHANGEENGINE
OILSOONmessagemustbereset.Toresetthe
message:
1.
PresstheupordownarrowtoscrolltheDICto
showOILLIFE.
2.
OncetheXXX%ENGINEOILLIFEmenuitemis
highlighted, pressandholdtheRESETbuttonuntil
thepercentage shows100%.
Ifthepercentage  doesnotreturnto100%orifthe
CHANGEENGINEOILSOONmessagecomes
backonwhenthevehicleisstarted,    theengineoil
lifesystemhasnotreset.Repeattheprocedure.
