locatedonthetransfer  case,you'llneedtoaddsome
lubricant. Addenoughlubricant toraisethelevelto
thebottomofthefillerplughole.Usecarenotto
overtighten theplug.

RefertotheMaintenance  Schedule todetermine what
kindoflubricant  touse.SeeRecommended  Fluidsand
Lubricants onpage7‑9.
RearAxle
WhentoCheckLubricant
Itisnotnecessary  toregularly checkrearaxlefluid
unlessyoususpectthereisaleakoryouhearan
unusualnoise.Afluidlosscouldindicate    aproblem.
Haveitinspected  andrepaired.
