toguardrails,signs,andotherstationary    objects. This
isnormaloperation,  yourvehicledoesnotneedservice.
Thisfeatureallowsyoutousethehigh-beam
headlamps tosignalthedriverinfrontofyouthatyou
wanttopass.
OtherMessages
Pullandholdtheturnsignal/multifunction   levertoward
youtousethisfeature.   Whenthisisdonethefollowing
willoccur:
Therearethreemessagesthatmayappearonthe
DriverInformation Center(DIC).TheyareCLEAN
RADAR,RADARCRUISENOTREADYandSERVICE
RADARCRUISE.SeeDICWarningsandMessages    on
page 4‑76.

Iftheheadlamps  areoff,inlow-beam  orinDaytime
RunningLamps(DRL)mode,thehigh-beam
headlamps willturnon.Theywillstayonaslong
astheleverisheldthere.Releasethelevertoturn
themoff.
CleaningtheSystem
Theradarcanbecomeblockedbysnow,ice,ordirt.
Ifso,youmayneedtoturnofftheengineandcleanthe
lens.See“Cleaning  theSystem”underAdaptive  Cruise
Controlonpage4‑15.
Iftheheadlamps  areinhigh-beam mode,theywill
switchtolowbeam.Toreturntohigh-beam,    push
theleverforward.
