Liftandslidethewaterdeflector   towardtheinboard
sideandremoveit.
Warninglightsandgagescansignalthatsomething    is
wrongbeforeitbecomesseriousenoughtocausean
expensive repairorreplacement. Payingattention tothe
warninglightsandgagescouldpreventinjury.
Warninglightscomeonwhentheremightbeorthereis
aproblemwithoneofthevehicle's    functions. Some
warninglightscomeonbriefly   whentheengineis
startedtoindicate  theyareworking.
Gagescanindicate  whentheremightbeorthereisa
problemwithoneofthevehicle's   functions. Oftengages
andwarninglightsworktogether   toindicate aproblem
withthevehicle.
Whenoneofthewarninglightscomesonandstayson
whiledriving, orwhenoneofthegagesshowsthere
couldbeaproblem,  checkthesectionthatexplains
whattodo.Followthismanual'sadvice.Waitingtodo
repairscanbecostlyandevendangerous.

Thetopedgeofthefiltershouldbevisible.     Reach
inandliftthefilterout,pullingupwardandtoward
thefrontofthevehicle.
Insertthenewairfilterbyslidingitbackintoplace.
Makesurethearrowonthefilterispointingtoward
thepassenger compartment.
Reversesteps1through3toreinstall    thewater
deflector,filtercoverandthehoodseal.
