Low-SpeedDeactivation
Ifyourspeedfallsbelow40km/h(25mph)while
following avehicleahead,Adaptive  CruiseControlwill
begintodisengage.  ThedriveralertsymbolontheHUD
willflashandthewarningbeepwillsound.Thedriver
musttakeactionsinceAdaptive   CruiseControlwillnot
slowthevehicletoastop.
{WARNING:
Adaptive CruiseControlmaynotdetectandreact
tostationary orslow‐movingvehicles  orother
objectsaheadofyou.Youcouldcrashintoan
objectaheadofyou.DonotuseAdaptive
CruiseControlwhenapproaching  stationary or
slow‐movingvehicles orotherobjects.
DeactivationWhenHead-UpDisplayis
TurnedOff
IftheHUDisturnedoffwhenAdaptive    CruiseControlis
engaged, itwillbegintodisengage.  Awarningbeep
soundsandthemessageRADARCRUISENOT
READYappearsontheDriverInformation   Center(DIC).
SeeDICWarningsandMessages   on page 4‑76 for
additional information. IfAdaptive CruiseControlwas
brakingwhentheHUDisturnedoff,thebrakingwill
continue briefly.

Adaptive CruiseControlmaynotdetectandreact
tostationary orslow-moving vehicles orother
objectsaheadofyou.Yourvehiclemayaccelerate
towardobjects, suchasastoppedvehiclethat
suddenlyappearsaftertheleadvehiclechanges
lanes.Yourcompleteattention  isalwaysrequired
whiledrivingandyoushouldbereadytotake
actionandapplythebrakes.
